I headed down to the Urban Photography studio in East London today to start the first of my lighting courses with Jonathan Bailey.

A most fruitful morning, I learned a fair few things, including the damned f/stop system used by my totally mind-boggling light metre - camera's handle 1/3 stops, whereas my light metre is returning back 1/10 stops.

Fascinating, isn't it?
